Welcome back to The JoyFULL Woman Podcast! Iām Joy, and today, we are diving deep into a powerful conversationāattachment styles, the abuse cycle, scarcity thinking, and breaking free into the abundant life God has for us.

Ā I want to invite you into a moment of reflection. Healing isnāt just about listeningāitās about processing, writing, and giving yourself space to truly understand your patterns and emotions. So grab a journal, a notebook, or even just the notes app on your phone, and take some time to sit with these questions. (See Show Notes for prompts ā I do not expect you to remember them all).

- What is your attachment style? (Think about your childhood, your relationships, and how you respond to emotional intimacy.)
- How do you handle conflict in relationships? Do you withdraw? Over-explain? People-please?
- What patterns do you notice in your past relationships? Do you feel like you keep dating the same type of person?
- Have you ever felt like you had to āearnā love? Where did that belief come from?
- When you were a child, how did the adults in your life show you love? Did you feel safe and emotionally supported?
š Breaking the Cycle of Abuse & Toxic Relationships
6. Have you ever found yourself in an abusive or toxic relationship? What kept you there?
7. Think about a time when you ignored a red flag in a relationship. What was your gut telling you, and why did you override it?
8. Do you struggle with setting boundaries? What fears come up when you think about saying "no" or protecting your emotional space?
9. If you truly believed that you were 100% worthy of love and respect, how would your relationships change?
10. What does healthy love look like to you? How can you start showing yourself that kind of love today?

11. What messages have you received about love from church, faith communities, or past Christian counseling experiences? Have any of them caused shame or fear?
12. How does your relationship with God mirror your relationship with people? Do you fear He will abandon you, or do you trust in His unconditional love?

14. What scriptures bring you comfort when you feel unworthy or stuck? (Write them down as affirmations!)
15. What is one step you can take today to begin healing from past relationship wounds?
